Learn to Become Australian

Prepare your Australian sim card first as you land and try to familiarise yourself with cheaper transportation methods and the apps used for cabs and such.

Trams in Melbourne are famous and are everywhere so you can travel cheap compared to cabs or other transportation. Find cheaper markets and stores from locals to buy groceries and other necessities next.

Get A Job

Unless you are from a fully financially wealthy family and can rely on your parents, the safest bet is to get a part-time job. It will help you take care of residential expenses and food expenses along with travel expenses.

This way you won't need to depend on your parents more and can get the money and freedom to explore more in Australia.

Explore Your City

Not all exploring needs money so find the cheapest ways to do the exploring and get to know everything about your city.

You can do the exploring with your friends and in case you like to do it alone, kudos. But if you are a female student we suggest avoiding travelling alone late at night.
